Based in Marshfield, South Shore Pile Driving (“SSPD”) is the preeminent contractor for elevated foundations and piers in New England. Owner, Paul Armstrong, began his career building custom ocean front homes on the south shore of Boston + Cape Cod. He has over 35 years of experience as a contractor, building more than 50 premium custom homes. 

Paul has taken his expertise and shifted it over the last 8 years to be the foundation of his specialized niche of pile driving. Paul alongside his son Nathan, has SSPD specialized in pile and beam work, having completed more than 200 home foundations on all types of soils and bedrock. In addition, SSPD has completed more than 5 major pier and projects, including a full reconstruction of the Bridgwaye Marina and docks in Humarock, and construction of the 100’ pier at the Duxbury Yacht Club in 2000.
